When Dr. V.L. Frampton, W.H. King leave lab. By the day they are involved with such problems as molecular structure of rice, tensile strength of cotton fibers, seed proteins, etc., at the Southern Regional Research laboratory, United States department of agriculture, Robert E. Lee boulevard. By night and on weekends they build boats, tend bees, paint, sew, square dance or pursue other hobbies in no way related to their professions. There's Dr. V.L. Frampton, head of seed and meal investigations, participating in studies of peanuts in treatment of hemophilia or producing high quality meal and oil from cottonseed. At his home workshop, Dr. Frampton works with wood, making pieces of furniture and building a cabin cruiser. W.H. King, noted for his work in seed and meal investigations, communicates to the world via him ham radio hobby.
