1963 Press Photo Insurance Women of New Orleans- Kiddy Bags Distribution

Filled with toys, clothing and candy, the red and green kiddy bags distributed to the Insurance Women of New Orleans were ready Thursday night for return to the Salvation Army. These and other kiddy bags distributed to various groups will ultimately go to deserving children in the New Orleans area. Also shown are separate gifts that the insurance women will deliver at the mental wards of Charity Hospital. The chief officers of the group are (from left): Miss Claire R. Stone, president; Miss Rosemary Ward, first vice-president; Miss Jo Twyman, secretary; Miss Willetta Mayo, public affairs chairman. The group met Thursday at the Smokehouse Restaurant, 5243 Canal Boulevard.
