1970 Press Photo Officers of Council of Presidents of Cooperative School Clubs

Mrs. Joseph L. Jeanfreau (left) received a plaque for outstanding service and Mrs. E. R. Powell was elected president of the Council of Presidents of Cooperative School Clubs during a PCSC meeting Monday in the Bauer Bldg. Other new officers are Mrs. T. J. Beauregard, first vice-president; Mrs. Edward McInnis, second vice-president; Mrs. Theodore J. Hemelt Jr., recording secretary; Mrs. John Goris, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Francis Grosz, treasurer; Mrs. Melvin Geipert, registrar, and Mrs. Charles Cassar and Mrs. LaVerne Marty, auditors. PCSC also voted to endorse a Young Men's Business Club petition urging immediate and adequate funding of the Louisiana Air and Stream Control commissions as well as strict enforcement of antipollution laws.
