In other places, Friends are Quakers, but here in New Orleans "The Friends" most often refers to members of the Friends of the Cabildo, a hard-working and enthusiastic group of preservationists. The Friends have furnished leadership in a number of projects, including restoration of the Cabildo, Presbytere, and, most recently, Medame John's Legacy.
