Mrs. Barbara Hoehn, Driver interviewed in East Bank jail - A Metairie woman awaiting trial for the slaying of her husband struck and killed an 11-year-old boy about 10 a. m. today when she tried to take her life by crashing into a tree. The automobile narrowly missed the dead child's twin brother and a friend who were seated near the intersection of Johnson and East dr. in Metairie. Killed in the crash was Ronald George Gerchow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Gerchow, 3705 Johnson. Being held by Jefferson authorities is Mrs. Barbara Hoehn, 41, of 3922 Civic, Metairie.
