Murray Jankus at Isidore H. Newman High School, won the recent oratory contest sponsored by the Optimist Club of New Orleans. By virtue of his victory, he will participate in the club's zone competition to be held Thursday at 8 p.m. in the St. Bernard Parish Courthouse. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philips B. Jankus of 1311 Nashville Avenue.
