Dr. Peter S. Hansen, head of the Music Department of Newcomb College, accepts a season ticket for the concert series of the New Orleans Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra at Dixon Hall Friday. The Alumnae Chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon, International Professional Music Sorority, made the presentation. Mrs. Kearney Quinn Robert (right), president of the local chapter, acted on behalf of the chapter at the presentation. Mrs. Nancy Treeby, Newcomb student, looks on. The season ticket was presented for the use of Newcomb students.
