1971 Press Photo Mrs. Edwin Guidry receives award from University Women

Receiving a plaque from Mrs. Edwin Guidry, president of the Louisiana Division of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) during ceremonies at the John XXIII Library on the campus of Dominican College is Miss Amy Henrietta Hinrichs, a retired New Orleans educator who has logged more than 60 years of service to area schools. Miss Hinrichs was honored by the New Orleans branch of the AAUW by having a grant to the AAUW's Educational Foundation Fellowship Program named in her honor.
