Miss Jane Alese hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.T. Hill of Bogalusa, meets with Captain John M. Platt of the SS Del Sud prior to departure from New Orleans on a six week cruise along the East Coast of South America. Miss Hill, 17 year old Bogalusa High School graduate, won the trip in the 30th annual Harold Harding Memorial Essay Contest sponsored by the Propeller Club.
