1963 Press Photo John Holl looks into his safe emptied by thieves in New Orleans

Looking into his safe which was emptied of almost $2200 in rare coins Tuesday night is John George Holl, 65, of 7604 Freret. The retired policeman was robbed by three thugs who forced their way into his home, cut his telephone wire and forced him to open the safe which housed the coins.
