Press Photo US Naval Academy Midshipman Wilson Grant- USS Turner in New Orleans

The arrival of the USS Turner at the Bienville street wharf today, meant a return home for U.S. Naval Academy Midshipman Wilson Grant of Belle Chasse. The 19-year-old third classman (sophomore), a 1956 graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School, waved to his family as the radar picket destroyer eased up to the wharf to begin a five-day Fourth of July holiday in New Orleans.
