Mrs. Jack Holmes of Baton Rouge was elected chairman of the Southeast Region, International Toastmistress Club, at the organization's meeting and speech contest at the Sheraton-Charles Hotel. Winner of the speech contest was Mrs. Nona Ross, also of the Baton Rouge Toastmistress Club, Mrs. Ross will compete in a Southeast regional speech contest in New Orleans on June 1-2.
