Archbishop Philip M. Hannan of New Orleans (center) receives a citation from the Mexico Society of New Orleans at a reception at the Plimsoll Club Friday night. The citation acknowledges his contributions "toward a better life for Latin American citizens." Presenting him with the plaque are Alonzo G. Ensenat (left), founder and former president of the society, and George A. Stevens, current society president.
