New White House Chef--Swiss-born Henry Haller, 43, above, will be the First Family's new chef, the White House announced tonight. Haller, now executive chef at the Sheraton-East Hotel in New York City, will move to the White House February 1. He will succeed Rene Verdon, who was hired by President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy and who quit January 1.
