Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Boy Scouts moved into the Goodwill Industries program to aid handicapped employees with the distribution of 50,000 Good Turn Day bags to housewives all over the city. Here, Joe Bonomola and Joseph Simoneaux (far right), turn a bag over to Debbie and Denise Cloninger. The Scouts will return November 8 to pick up the bags filled with discarded clothing and shoes, which will provide the raw materials for further Goodwill employment. "We are proud to be one of the 101 Goodwill Industries Serving the National Handicapped."
