Reigning as Queen and King of the annual Golden Age Ball at Lyons Center, 624 Louisiana Avenue, are Mrs. Lela Picone and Henry Barclay. The event is an annual feature of the New Orleans Recreation Department. Mrs. Picone portrayed Queen Victoria Regina and Barclay was Prince Consort Albert, in keeping with the theme of the ball.
