Trophy-Taker Mrs. Ave Marie Gonzales return from the state department convention of the American Legion Auxiliary loaded down with trophies and awards. Chief award was the Lloyd Membership Jennie Mitchell cup for the outstanding district president of the state. Others are the James C. Casserly radio trophy; Alma Hobbs Peterson, music trophy; poppy poster award; cash award for 100 per cent donations for restoration of the Baltimore, Maryland, flag house; the loan scholarship award, and the Pelican Girls' State awards.
