Washington and Oakdale Entries Take Honors. A 17-year-old dairy foods and nutritions whiz from Washington in St. Laundry Parish captured first place in the Good Provider contest competition for the Southwest-Central Louisiana District,and her male, counterpart was a 16-year-old "city boy" from Oakdale, who recently added the Eagle Scout to his many accomplishments.
