1962 Press Photo Meridian, Mississippi Housing Director Gets Plaque on Birthday

A plaque is presented to W.W. George (right), executive director of the Meridian, Mississippi housing authority on his birthday. The plaque is presented by W.A. McMinn, executive director of the Clarksdale housing authority. The occasion marked George's 25 years of service to the low-rent housing movement in Mississippi. The presentation was made at the Mississippi Association of Housing Authorities convention in Biloxi, Mississippi.
