1967 Press Photo Billy Casper receives the Greater New Orleans Open Gold Cup

Billy Casper receives the Greater New Orleans Open Gold Cup from chairman Hermen Twilbeck yesterday after his final round 67 which gave him a 280 score for 72 holes. Casper's 1138 total for the 1966 U. S. PGA, 1967 Masters and 1967 GNOO left him 16 shots ahead of runner-up Doug Sanders. The Gold Cup carries with it a $5000 prize. Sanders received $2500 for second while Frank Beard and Mason Rudolph, tied at 1156, split $1000 for third.
