Mrs. Alva Van Matre and Miss Lucyle J. B. Flores - Poetry Show Salutes Japan - This spring the local poets' fancy turns to thoughts of Japan, and they are going to salute the poetry of that Far Eastern land in honor of Prince Akahito and his princess bride. Part of the young princess-to-be's accomplishments, said Miss Flores, was to study poetry and write wacas.
