1965 Press Photo Families picnic at Audubon Park during 4th of July Celebration

A great picnic has just been had by the gentleman resting on the cot at Audubon Park Sunday, it would appear. Audubon Park Superintendent William Pohlmann called the throng there "a banner crowd." Pontchartrain Beach and City Park also reported large crowd. Note the patriotic touch int he picture with the American flag hanging from a tree.
