Landmine Warfare. All Basic Combat Trainees at Fort Polk undergo instruction of placing, as well as proper methods of removal, of landmines. Here, a trainee sets out an anti-personnel mine (smaller mine) and another man prepares to bury an anti-tank mine. Both mines pictured are training dummy mines. A trainee sets out an anti-personnel mine as another member prepares to bury an anti-tank mine as they undergo instructions in placing and proper methods of removal of the explosives.
