Mrs. Georgia Fischer, executive secretary Newcomb Alumnae Association - As executive secretary of the Newcomb Alumnae Association, Mrs. Fischer keeps track of all former Newcomb students throughout the United States--all 6,320 of them. Mrs. Fischer, who is a 1925 art graduate of Newcomb, has been serving in her present post since 1949. Following the marriage of her predecessor, Mrs. Virginia Liggett Suttle, Dr. Logan Wilson, former dean of Newcomb, called Mrs. Fischer and offered her the job of executive secretary.
