Legion groups install officers Albert Esposito was installed as commander of the Chalmette Port Number 360, American Legion and Mrs. J. Claude Meraux was seated as president of the Ladies Auxiliary in a joint installation ceremony. Other post officers are Harold H. Heischer, first vice-commander; Edward Rietschel, adjustant; Robert Blanchard, finance officer; Charles Mouton, chaplain; Edward Michel, service officer; Daniel H. Becker, sergeant-at-arms; Calvin Claudel, historian, and Allen Tillery, judge advocate.
