Description
A European newsman arrested during the welcoming parade for General Charles de Gauile pleaded immunity Friday at a hearing in municipal court. A second newsman also arrested during the parade failed to show up in court. An attachment was issued for his arrest. In Municipal Court Friday, European correspondent Serge Fliegers (left) confers with Dominique Pado, assistant Mayor Of Paris and editor-in-chief of L'Aurore, a Paris newspaper. Pado was a witness at Fliegers' hearing on charges of refusing to move on assaulting a police officer. He was arrested during Thursday night's parade welcoming General Charles de Gauile to the city. Judge Andrew C. Bucaro took under advisement Fliegers' plea of immunity because of his connection with the de Gauile party.
