1959 Press Photo Audubon Zoo Visitors with Elephant Named Rock 'n Roll

Zoo Animals - Where's her mouth? ask the little girl at left as she leans over to take a close look at the "new girl' whose is stealing the limelight at the Audubon Zoo. The 3-year-old 1985-pound elephant goes by the name of Rock 'n Roll and is staying at the zoo until transportation is arranged to a movie location in the British West Indies. At right is Ray Chandler, her trainer.
