This is Young Women's Christian Association centennial week according to a proclamation issued at Baton Rouge by Governor Robert F. Kennon. Pictured with the governor at the issuing of the proclamation are Mrs. Philip Farnsworth (left), chairman of the New Orleans centennial celebration, and Mrs. Milton Adler, chairman of the state centennial celebration. The Young Women's Christian Association is entering the second century with more than 1300 units in the United States and associations in 65 other countries.
