James H. De Weese is the president of the association and Peters traveled the longest distance to be here. The law-breaking juvenile and the transient, the latter often a jobless bread-winner who turns to burglary, were described today as being the nation's most serious crime problems. District attorneys in the largest U.S. port-cities and small college towns made that accusation as some 400 prosecutors convened in the Roosevelt hotel for the mid-winter conference of the National District Attorneys Association.
