Hero J. Edwards Jr., president of the South Louisiana Chapter, Leukemia Society of America, thanks Miss Paige Peiser, one of the volunteers in the current drive, for her help. The campaign for funds continues through the month of March. Hero said 20 per cent of 12,000 kits have been turned in by volunteers in the residential drive and the total to date is $17,024.
