Perry Faulkner and H.E. Riley - Sharp warnings on what the veteran may expect in a period of declining employment were voiced at the American Legion's All-Southern Economic Conference today at the St. Charles. Speakers said that: "A large portion" of the three million unemployed, nationwide, are younger veterans, The Federal Government, by not help the situation by cutting the appropriation for the Veterans Employment Service, during the fiscal year 1949-50, by $900,000.
