Description
Dr. Dee S. Dundee, New Orleans chairman of the hobbyists' and scientists' meeting, assures James Wadsworth of Chapel Hill N.C., that she has not seen his pet snail. "Bring 'em back alive" is the motto of a group of hobbyist and their scientific counterparts meeting a the Sheraton-Charles Hotel- although the game they're after is minescule compared to that hunted by man who originated the saring. Mrs. Jud Taylor, a San Antonio malacologist, says "like Frank Buck, we want our specimens alive," not just shells of their former selves.

Photo is dated 1964.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
