New York -- The other night, a pretty, blonde, 17-year-old singer named Trish Dwelley paused a moment before crossing the street to the Hudson Theater where Jack Paar's "Tonight" show originates. Only a few nights before, the Springfield, Pennsylvania girl had walked into that theater virtually unknown - and walked out with the NBC switchboard all lighted up like a Christmas tree with calls from enthusiastic viewers.
