George W. DeFranceaux, King of Washington "Mardi Gras" Ball Washington - U.S. Representative F. Edward Hebert, chairman of the 1966 "Mardi Gras" ball of the Louisiana Society, announced Saturday that George W. DeFranceaux, Washington mortgage banker, will be king of the February 19 spectacle. DeFranceaux, 52-year-old businessman, has for years been host to "Mardi Gras" participants at his nearby Maryland estate.
