1955 Press Photo Joseph Donnigan places a watch around Patrolman Paul Makarevich

After 25 years, Joseph J. Donnigan of Venice, got around to placing a watch on the wrist of Patrolman Paul Makarevich in appreciation for the policeman savings his life when a fight started in a French Quarter speakeasy where Donnigan was then playing music under the name of Banjo Joe. The presentation was made at police headquarters.
