1964 Press Photo Painting of Edgar Degas exhibited at Delgado Museum of Art

This "Portrait of Estelle Musson" by Edgar Degas, famous French impressionist, and painted in New Orleans in the late 19th century, may become the possession of the Delgado Museum of Art. An effort is being made to purchase the painting for the museum. This painting is now on display at the museum.
