1964 Press Photo Mrs. Simone Delery receives the French Legion of Honor

Receiving the French Legion of Honor at Bastille Day ceremonies Tuesday at the French Consulate, 2406 Prytania, is Mrs. Simone de la Souchere Delery. Robert Picquet, consul general of France in New Orleans presents the decoration to Mrs. Delery for her efforts in furthering relations between France and the United States. She is former professor of French at Tulane University and Newcomb College.
