1970 Press Photo Visitors line up in Delgado Museum to view Moon Rock display

Ground Broken for Expansion At Museum -- A damp clump of sod was spaded from the lawn of Delgado Museum today, symbolic assurance that Delgado will one day have three magnificent new wings. Earlier, Mayor Victor H. Schiro called this the first major improvement to the museum since the day it opened early in this century.
