1958 Press Photo Joseph J. Costello awarded Sustained Superior Performance Award

Mr. Joseph J. Costello (left) is awarded the Sustained Superior Performance Award by Colonel M. A. Darragh, Commanding Officer of Camp Leroy Johnson, (New Orleans) Louisiana. He was cited for Sustained Superior Performance as evidenced by the Exemplary Manner in which he carried out his assignment as supervisory surplus property disposal officer during the Period 1 January through 31 December 1957. His loyalty and devotion to duty reflected credit to himself and the command and served as an inspiration to others. A cash award of $200.00 accompanied the certificate. Mr. Costello of 4438 Cerise Ave, New Orleans, is employed as supply officer, Camp Leroy Johnson.
