The Greater New Orleans Post No. 4 of Amvets installed its new officers at a meeting in the Lucky Star restaurant. Department vice-commander John E. La Villebeuvre was installing officer. Officers are: Stanley L. Cole, commander; Edward Broussard, first vice commander; Henry D. Harms, second vice-commander; Fred Huebner, third vice-commander; Stanley L. Perret Sr., adjutant; Thomas B. Huff, finance officer. Sturges J. Dicing Sr., judge advocate; Gerald Bommarius, provost marshal; the Rev. Joseph Pickett, chaplain; John Shields, public relations officer; Henry L. Carter, historian, and Victor Gross Jr., service officer.
