The original members of the Cesar Franck Choral Society were presented gold medals by cofounder of the group, Dr. George W. Cooper (center) at the home of professor Gustin Wright, 1322 Felicity, conductor and other cofounder of the society. Members of the society (from the left) are, seated, Mrs. John C. Schaefer, professor Wright, Dr. Cooper, B.C. Eastwood, Mrs. W.H. Byrnes; standing, Mrs. Ann Abrahams, Miss Minnie Talluto, Mrs. W. L. Bagot, Robert Van Camp, Miss Mary Schwark, and Miss Anna May Navarro. The society was founded in 1947.
