A typical family seder is enacted by a group at the Communal Hebrew School. The seder is a supper which will be held tomorrow and Saturday nights in Jewish homes to mark the beginning of Passover or Pesach, holiday commemorating the flight of the ancient Jews from bondage in Egypt. From front let, reading clockwise, are Joseph Cohn, Mrs. David L. Herman, president of the Mothers' Club, who posed as the family mother; Ehud Goldberg, school superintendent, who posed as the family father; Betty Fay Block and Norman Harris. The drinking of the wine and breaking of unleavened bread are shown.

Photo is dated 1958.
