Carolyn Anne Cole, senior at East Jefferson High School, accepts a $100 check for her prize-winning entry in the annual American Citizenship essay contest sponsored by the Louisiana State Bar Association. Oliver P. Stockwell, Lake Charles, made the presentation during the 22nd annual meeting of the Louisiana bar in Biloxi. Miss Cole, 18, is he daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cole, 1017 Cardinal, Metairie.
