2 Lousiana Beauties Among Cotton Maid Finalists -- Memphis, Tennessee -- The National Cotton Council today announced the names of 20 girls as finalists in the 1966 Maid of Cotton contest. The girls, who represent 10 of 18 cotton-producing states, will compete here December 28-29 for the title. Finalists, their hometown and schools include: Louisiana: Terry Cobena, 21, Rayne, senior at Louisiana State University; and Elaine Spencer, 20, Monroe, junior at Belhaven College, Jackson, Mississippi. --- Terry Cobena (left) is crowned Miss Rayne for 1961-62 by Sheila Raymond, Miss Rayne for 1960-61. Miss Cobena will represent Rayne at the International Rice Festival in Crowley, Louisiana.
