Former Attorney General Herbert Brownell talks form the witness table today as he appears before the House Merchant Marine Subcommittee inquiring into the shipping deals of Aristotle S. Onassis. In his testimony he defended the government's 1955 settlement of suits involving surplus ships bought by Onassis interests after World War II.
