More than two hundred adults, some volunteer workers and others representing various scout troops, were praised for contributions to scouting at the annual recognition banquet of John Albert District, New Orleans Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, Saturday night at Carter G. Woodson Junior High school. Dr. E. W. Bashful, dean of the Southern university branch at New Orleans, and guest speaker, commended them as "representatives of that glorious host who have given unselfishly of their service....Silver beaver award
