Dr. John J. Bobear (right) points to the Lee Circle area on the map which was been found to be the are of highest incidence of tuberculosis in New Orleans. Dr. Bobear and Dr. Albert Corne (left), chief resident in medicine at Louisiana State University Medical Center, recently completed a study of number and locations of tuberculosis cases in New Orleans and elsewhere in the state. They found the city has a higher incidence of the disease than the state as a whole.
