1960 Press Photo Sea Scouts board the "Sea Explorer" in preperation for a voyage

Part of a group of 20 Sea Scouts board the "Sea Explorer" Friday as they prepare for a voyage to Galveston, Texas. They are (from left) Joseph Yurt, Nolan Haro, Jay Mauffray and Lance Walthall. The Scouts are being checked on board at Municipal Yacht Harbor by Vernile B. Bagert, skipper of Sea Scout vessel No. 189. The captain of the "Sea Explorer" is James Dubuisson. The Scouts will be on the cruise for 10 days and will sail approximately 830 nautical miles.
