Cape Canaveral, Florida, July 20 - Polaris Number Two clears and blasts - The second Polaris missile fired from a submarine clears the surface and is shown as the first stage just ignites. It was fired from the nuclear submarine USS George Washington cruising 30 miles off the Cape. This was the second successful shot for the day.
