1960 Press Photo Deposed Korean Rhee Regime Officials on Trial in Seoul

Three cabinet members from the government of former President Syngman Rhee are shown handcuffed in court at Seoul yesterday as the first of a series of trials against 87 persons associated with the Rhee regime began. They are, from left: Former Home Minister Choi In-Kyu, former Minister of Education Choi Jae-Yoo and former Health and Social Minister Sohn Chung-Whan. The three, wearing white robes, Korean symbol of contrition, are handcuffed and roped together in traditional court fashion.
